Abstract
Platanus Orientalis L. used to treat different diseases in ancient times. Purpose of study to find its chemical activities in different agents or solvents. Two types of solvents used, ethanol and methanol. Different biological activities performed like antioxidant, antibacterial and antidiabetic. Characterization of plant GC-MS and HPLC performed. Liquid nitrogen quenching is performed, then made composition with ethanol and methanol. This composition was further used to perform activities. Before this yield percentage had been calculated. In antioxidant TPC, TFC, DPPH, ABTS and metal chelating was performed and graph also drawn. In antibacterial two types of enzymes used which is E. coli and other is Bacilus subtilis, here peniciline was standard. To perform antibacterial Disc Diffusion method used. In antidiabetic in vitro activity performed. This plant has a variety of medicinal uses. It mostly found in Greece, Italy, Iran and also in US.
