Abstract

Rhazya stricta Decne. is a significant medicinal plant widely utilized as an indigenous herbal remedy Leaf extracts possess greater antioxidant activity and are associated with higher levels of polyphenols and flavonoids. in countries such as Pakistan, Afghanistan, India and Iran. Research aimed to conduct a review of Rhazya stricta  possessses phytochemical, pharmacological, and toxicological   qualities It is widely Used in medicine and contain several secondary metabolites such as   alkaloids and flavonoids a responsible for its antioxidant, antimicrobial, antidiabetic and anticancer properties. Leaf extracts possess greater antioxidant activity and are associated with higher levels of polyphenols and flavonoids. The results are discussed in the context of existing literature the highlight their scientist and medicinal significance.
