Abstract

Coronary artery disease (CAD) remains a leading cause of death globally. Early identification and timely intervention are crucial to prevent adverse cardiovascular outcomes. In recent years, artificial intelligence (AI) has emerged as a transformative tool in medical diagnostics, offering superior precision and predictive power compared with traditional models. This narrative review explores current applications of AI in early CAD detection, focusing on its role in imaging, ECG analysis, and predictive modelling. The review highlights key breakthroughs, limitations, and future prospects for integrating AI into routine clinical practice.
